This May Be The Best Tech Ad Of The Year Dec 2nd 2012, 20:57 Absolutely adorable commercial for the Google Search App. Samsung has received much (unwarranted) praise for its Apple fanatic-mocking TV spots. But this new ad for the Google Search App is the rare tech ad that smoothly blends creativity and effectiveness in a quick 30 seconds. It far surpasses the Malkovich et al celeb Siri commercials. It's spot-on perfect. Unfortunately, a second ad in the new campaign, "Replacement Umpire," isn't up to snuff. Ad agency: Venables Bell & Partners.
