Aaron Templeton, 37, was arrested Wednesday in Lewiston, Idaho, after he apparently texted a meth seller to set up a purchase. Except he had the wrong number and texted a narcotics detective instead, AP reports.
At first, the detective thought his cop friends were messing with him. When he realized the request was real, he arranged a meeting to arrest Templeton.
Templeton was still texting the detective up until the point of his arrest. His last message, according to KBOI2: "Well, that’s weird, a cop just pulled up on me so what’s up with that?”
