Not many songs fall in the Venn diagram circle between R.E.M. and Clay Aiken. Andy Williams died last night at his home in Branson, Missouri. Williams might not be a household name these days, but his song "Moon River" is. He first sang it at the 1962 Academy Awards, where its writer Johnny Mercer and composer Henry Mancini were honored.
